This will send all Punisher fans to the movies. It should be better then the previous one they did many-many years back.

I must say that bringing Punisher to the silver screens is not easy. How do you convey the emotions of a father and husband striking back at the under-world, with all it's intensity and correctness?

It's got to be more then a I shoot everything in sight show, it's got to capture the heart of why he did it...yes I am a punisher fan.

Got The Punisher t-shirt hanging in my closet....I kid you not.

Now I'm wondering if I can wear that shirt in front of my mum-in-law...

Devil May Cry
03.28.04 (8:13 pm)

 Started playing Devil May Cry. Though the game has been around for a while (since 2000, it's version 2 now) , I've only had the time to start last week. The game controls are a bit like Onimusha. Standard kill the demons and collect orbs scenario.

But the graphics...phew....blood spruts out of open wounds when you cut up the demons. Plus, you get to use two weapons , a sword and choice of fire-arm. Meaning you can have a combo where you slash and then blast away.

Slash, slash, slash + boooooom (sawed off shotgun to the head).

Pretty gory but it kept me up last weekend. I'm currently stuck at an under-ground level. Killed off by this freaky dude with a goat skull for a head.

Well, if life was this simple (especially at work) the Devil May Cry eventually...

:) I can finally smile easy today. My job-list for this week has been settled. At least now I can go back to playing my PS2 and singing to my un-born baby.

Talking about baby, wifey and I still don't know the sex eventhough we get pretty un-conclusive predictions from mother and mother-in-laws, well meaning friends, office mates and you general guy at the mamak stall. So I'll address baby as baby.

Baby seems to like Linkin Park,Incubus and Sting, do I see a rock star in the making here? That would be way cool!

Aside from that, looking at baby's growing-up needs the other week, I can safely conclude that the reason why birth-rates are on the way down is not that people have stop having bed-room-rumba or that they have decided to profess gayism but the economics of it all. It is just getting too expensive (nowadays) to raise a child.

I am sure no-one wants to raise their children on peanuts and wet rice.

Economics will dictate the number of children that any couple would have. Wifey and I would probably have two (the most) though I once was gunning for a foot-ball squad...

Lost Souls

 Changed the header. Some-how my previous banner is no longer on the blog server. So I had to come with another one for the time being while I search for the previous header in my organized mess.

Another hot day is forecast for the city. It is hot even in the air-conditioned room I sit in, what more to say for those souls hacking out a living in the open spaces.

Malaysian gomen is actually listening to the Chinese gomen.

Hm, what annoys me are office mates who think they know more but are in fact mind-less oysters. Clammed up in their own mis-directed worlds. Merely squirting mud when high tide comes.

Maybe I'm being too defensive but I did not like the tone this person used while trying to point out this old dog's mistake...That typical I know more then you tone...

Anyway, it's time for my coffee. My brain-cells need caffaine.

It is hot
03.23.04 (10:09 pm)
It has been really heaty these past few days and not only from the post-elections going abouts but rather the weather. The pass two days I've been dizzy from the heat.

Malaysians are well known for being able to do things at the very last minute but what happened during election was just a laugh. Yup, we had time to prepare ballot papers and stuff but to get the wrong party symbols on the ballot papers? The EC head was called to resign but looks like he is still going to be around a bit longer.

The EC (Election Commission) blamed some of the foul ups on the limited time given to print the ballot papers. Like you printed the wrong symbol....limited time...does not compute.

Hope the governments keeps their promises, this guy sure did.

Aku Bukan Pilihan

Iwan Fals - Aku Bukan Pilihan

Kini kumengungkap tanya
Siapakah dirinya?
Yang mengaku kekasihmu itu
Aku tak bisa memahami

Ketika malam tiba
Ku rela kau berada
Dengan siapa kau melewatinya
Aku tak bisa memahami

Aku lelaki tak mungkin
Menerima bila
Ternyata kau mendua
Membuatku terluka
Tinggalkan saja diriku
Yang tak mungkin menunggu
Jangan pernah memilih
Aku bukan pilihan

Selalu terungkap tanya
Benarkah kini ada
Wanita yang kukenal hatinya
Aku tak bisa memahami

Tak perlu memilihku
Aku lelaki, bukan untuk dipilih

just love this song...

COST: RM2,999, limited edition. Only 10,000 available worldwide and 250 for the Malaysian market.

 Was up late until 2.30am this morning fixing up a bulletin board for evenstarr.com. Slept for 4 hours and continued till 8.00am fixing some bugs, really, really stoned.

I need sleep as much as this guy.

Besides the splitting head-ache I have, everything else is going along dandily. Not much is happening at the work-place, really considering running off this afternoon to sleep but I have a function to MC.

Man, we need some excitement at work like wheel-chair crack grandmas racing down the hall-way or indoor soccer at lunch-hour! Or even free buffet lunch once a week.

Plus, why not a weekly PS2 challenge...with holiday prizes...

Excerpts from an email I received, worth thinking about :

"Many forms of government have been tried, and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No-one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except for all the other forms that have been tried."
(Winston Churchill to the House of Commons on 11th of November 1947)

Do any of us really want to embrace communism? Or return to the golden era of the monarchy? Or submit to tyrants?

No, the democratic process is far from perfect. But the other options are worse.

Samurai Blood Shot Eyes

:P Finished playing Onimusha 3 : Demon Siege on my PS2. It is a solid game, battle system is really cool and simple to grasp. Eventhough the only version in the market now is the japanese one.

The graphics and the bash-them-up gameplay is great. Mind you it is not a simple walk-in-the-park-kill-all -em-demons game. There are puzzles to solve and bosses to kill.

The bossess are at time horrifically hard to kill especially the two headed lightning-ice breathing dog and the final boss.

 Imagine bashing up those pin-head pain-in-the-ass office people after a hard day, it helps...

A shout out to weichun: have you ever considered script-writing? Your skills are brilliant in that department...my two cents

I wonder if we can get paid for ghost-writing gomen-ministry speeches. It will/could help bring some sense into what our "elected leaders" have to say....my two cents.

Running in circles
03.11.04 (4:50 pm)
8) Got a new office pc, finally using XP. At least it is more compact then the previous machine I used. Going to miss that machine, dual processor and everything. Had to hand that one to another staff member, gosh even in office you've got hand-me-downs.

Not feeling too well these past few days. Doctor actually advisd me to get extra rest, seems that I have been walking around with a slight fever.

Yes, we soldiers tread on regardless of our own health and well-being.

Ever get the feeling that all things are just going about in circles? I do.

Eventhough you may try to do something new, it will (sooner or later) fall into a routine and things just go back into a loop. Life repeats itself in a monotonous spiral of day-to-day activity.

It gets to me. At times I feel I am de-composing as I sit here. The void gets bigger as I sit here, a feeling of emptiness....

Hm, need my coffee...

Election Fever
03.05.04 (6:22 pm)

8) Malaysians will go to the polls on March 21. While F1 races will speed on from the 19th to 21st March. Hopefully live coverage will still be available. Some people have been calling for the television stations to stop airing "interesting" programs during this period so that people can go vote rather than stay home to watch those shows.

Ala, Malaysians will vote and still catch the F1 races. Sure can wan, we are masters of last minute work and decisions. We can be in two places in quick successions.

Look at the way Malaysians drive during festive seasons. We are hyper-maniacs on the road, risking all in order to be the first in line at toll booths.

Thank God where I live there are no toll booths...

Malaysia Boleh!

:D Finally managed to login. Had to request for a new password, seems like gremlins have also invaded the good people of tBlog.

Have been fighting a bad sore throat since Monday. Today I feel a lot better after pumping myself with enough antibiotics to get me a drug charge.

My fans (all 3 of you) have demanded that I post up the chronicles of the last 4 days of my life for this week. So here goes:
