my blog dissapeared
05.30.04 (5:13 pm)
 My previous blog disappeared. Hm, tblog better fix its server problems or else their faithful users will just float away to other blog systems.

Its pretty irritating, last week I manage to log on to my blog after days away from my desk only to find the server constantly kicking me out. When I finally manage to log in to add a blog, it disappears on me.

Damn, frustrating....

Watched Shrek 2 yesterday and I thought that it was alright. The message behind the story was positive and that was a good thing but I believe small children might not pick up the message. The animation was top notch but I really wanted to see more of Puss in Boots. That character really was cute.

Going to watch Harry Potter this week after the dust settles from the stampeding fans that went this weekend. This week is a school break week and I doubt it if the cineplex is anything but empty. Hopefully I don't sit in front of a fan who has read the book (happened last time) and who gave a running commentary of the story. I would have wack that fan if not for the fact that it was a little boy...

They had ideas but couldn't get away with it.

Read the fine print of your job contract, you never know.

Something I won't want to bump into at night.

Bugs in the system
05.17.04 (6:15 pm)
:x I have realized that recently it has been hard to post a blog on tblog. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I believe it is due to technical stuff brought about by the massive influx of virus activity going about nowadays.

My EG9 is already giving me problems. The front bumper is creaking and the wheel lining is tearing itself to crap while I drive. I seriously think that Honda made a design mistake by incorporating wheel-linings.

Wheel linings are strips of rubber that run along the wheel wells. Placed just above the wheels. I have noticed that most Hondas are having problems with this strip of rubber....yes, Malaysia is the biggest exporter of rubber for another type of protection. I heard Malaysia produces the best rubber...:P

Yes, I don't really support the National Service Program so let me bitch about it lah.

KUALA LUMPUR: Claims of abuse by alleged members of an al-Qaeda-linked group jailed in Malaysia might be aimed at smearing the country’s name, Deputy Internal Security Minister Datuk Noh Omar said. [more]

Ok, lets hope we don't out-do America...

Malaysia Boleh...whatever
05.13.04 (6:06 pm)
 In the spirit of 'Malaysia Boleh' we've did again. Apparently the first website to host the video for the Nicholas Berg murder was hosted here in Malaysia. Acme Commerce Sdn Bhd has since shut down that website.

Acme Commerce's network was tracerouted to be hosted at MYLOCA Cyberjaya Network Infrastructure, which resides in Cyberjaya. MYLOCA is owned by Telekom Malaysia, which in turn is majority-owned by the Malaysian government. Abstracted from Screenshots.

What to do, Malaysia wants to be first in practically everything. Names it le we will try to beat the rest at it.

Too bad the Malaysian badminton team was humbled by Indonesia recently.

We have some of the best facilities in the region and it will remain so, the best facilities and sub-standard athletes. Ironicly the privately sponsored athletes (no gomen money) are doing better at the international stage.

Maybe I can be the first to grow organic chickens....

I've got to work...
05.12.04 (7:52 pm)
I hv work to do but I'm soooo not into it at the moment but I've got to submit it in by Saturday... shud hv chosen to be a farmer.

If this happened in Malaysia, you'd be caught for terrorism.

PETALING JAYA: Although the national service programme has weaknesses and encountered problems, it does not mean that it is a failure, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said. [ more ]

I just think the whole thing was mis-managed. There were instances of rape, fights, abuses and illicit sex at the training centres (never made the news). I would say there are failures since the trainees are 18 years of age.

I hope the government stop insulting the public's common sense.

I want one of these for Christmas, the hand-held PlayStation from SONY. Beats playing those phone games at the airport.

Back again
05.09.04 (7:26 pm)
:D
Finally managed to sneak in a blog.

With the network up-grading going on and the sassar worm going around like mad, blogging from where I am is like going behind enemy lines.

Managed to acquire a Honda EG9 from a friend. Looking at it as another project to keep me busy for a couple of years.

I am one who needs little personal projects to keep myself motivated. Sitting in an office all day doesn't do much for your motivation.

Sometimes I feel the world is passing me by. Here I am sitting behind a silicon wall, while in the real world of blood and sweat things are happening.

Trying hard not to sound like its the end of the world but you can't help wishing things could be re-borned differently. With all the crap thats going on now, I'm fearing for my un-born child (due next month). What sort of world will he/she be brought into?

I'm just paranoid with a lot of things at this time....

regards,
